IPE beams

European I beams with parallel flanges · 22 sizes · ArcelorMittal sections catalogue, Euronorm 19-57

IPE sections are the standard European medium flange I beams (Euronorm 19-57, tolerances to EN 10034). The number is the nominal depth in millimetres, from IPE 80 to IPE 600. They are the usual choice for floor beams, purlins and secondary members, and the parallel flanges make bolted connections straightforward.

IPE A, IPE O and IPE AA are lighter and heavier variants with the same nominal depth: IPE A and IPE AA have thinner flanges and webs, IPE O is heavier than IPE.

The table lists the dimensions, mass and area of every size. Tap a designation for its drawing and detailed dimensions. All values are in millimetres, kilograms per metre and square centimetres.
